I'm looking for a decent FP that has a small image offset. I've got a basement HT that has 7'5" ceiling height. Was wondering if there's a $1500 projector out there that has this feature. Will be using a 92" screen. Hoping to get the top of the screen about 6'2". Any thoughts on this?

Some of the cheaper PJs only maximize resolution if centered on the screen. I think you are asking for a PJ that will allow for about a 1 foot off screen offset?

I dont follow the lower end PJ that much....but I know the Panasonic AE-700 will do that. They have recently come out with the AE-900 so I am guessing that you might be able to find one around $1500. I very much like the AE-700 at its price point.

    Best wishes

Thanks Gregg. I think I need to look into projectors that offer lens shift. The Sanyo Z3 might be the ticket. I think the Panny's (AE700 and 900)also have this feature.
