Hello,

I am looking to purchase a new TV in the 30"-36" range. I want it to be capable of displaying 1080i and 720p. I am looking to spend $1,000 at the most. I also do not mind purchasing used or b-stock televisions. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Thanks

For that price I'm thinking that CRT is probably the best place to start looking. Depending on your situation I'd suggest saving up a couple of hundred more and going for a 30" LCD.

36" tops on size because of space limitations???

If not, go big. Some of the deals on very large quality CRT RPTV HDTV can get you into a 60" for around this.

A fair amount of CRT stuff in this range. There is a Sanyo with built in HDTV tuner people seem very happy with.

Phillips has some nice 16:9 CRT's that can be found in this range as well.

best of luck with it.
