Could this be the long awated release of Super Mario Brothers 3 on the GBA? Look for the European Release Dates on PlanetGamecub.com for more info

Even though SMB3 is the greatest Mario (and perhaps platformer) of all time, I'd still rather see an all-new, 2D, Mario title helmed by the master himself.

Hey, a guy's gotta have dreams, right?

Miyamoto is very busy right now doing other games or at least overseeing them. He probably doesn't have time to make a new 2-D Mario.

They'll probably make SMA4 be Mario 3 and then SMA5 be Yoshi's Story from N64. If Square and Nintendo really are buds, they'd do us a favor and release SMA6 as Super Mario RPG.

How many Mario games can they fit in an GBA cart?

I'd really like them to come out with SMA Super Carts. Mario 1, 2, and 3 on one cart properly ordered, and Mario World, Yoshi's Ilsand, and Mario RPG on a seperate one. Not only a space saver, but less confusing for the new Mario fans.

Well they can fit more than a Super Nintendo game, and the SNES did have Super Mario All-Stars...

So I think they could fit Mario 1-3 plus the Lost Levels and the multiplayer Mario game that they made in SMA1 and 2 if they tried.

Neil, you can get the first Mario on GBC. I wouldn't get my hopes up for a multiple release on one cartridge though, if they can sell one game per cartridge they are making a lot more money.

For Super Mario RPG they would need the rights from Squaresoft, and for Paper Mario they'd need to alter the graphics a bit much, so I doubt it would be released on the GBA.
