Everytime I watch Reservoir Dogs (including tonight) I have to super slow motion the following scene:

At the end when Joe shoots Mr. Orange, Mr. White shoots Joe, Nice Guy Eddie shoots Mr. White and then I always miss Mr. White shooting Nice Guy Eddie.

Thanks to our wonderful format I can see the guns going off step by step.

    Anyone else do the same?

    Mike

First saw it on LD, but yes we had to step through the scene. Almost everyone does because you can't believe it just happened.
Definately a "What? How did all that happen?" [IMG] It really does depict it all though.

Funny you bring up that scene. I happened to have watched the DVD last week, I think, for the first time in about two years. I did the exact same thing. "Hey, how did he get both Joe and Eddie?"

Yeh -- definitely a "Thank God for DVD!" moment. Up until then, I always wondered if Mr. Pink (Steve Buscemi) had for some reason shot Nice Guy Eddie, since I couldn't figure out where that second shot came from! (The grassy knoll, perhaps?)

According to some of the upcoming DVD release lists, Artisan will be releasing a 10th Anniversary edition of Reservoir Dogs in July of 2002. I don't know any specifics about the disc, but perhaps someone can chime in, if they have some information.
( And yes, I've slow mo'd the final sequence as well. )
    - Walter.
