Purchased this Slingbox last month and although it works great I can not view at work due to firewall issues so I really dont have any use for it. Item is like new and is in original box.

also have Linksys wireless adapter for this. Which enables you to connect the slingbox to your wireless network. also in new condition

I have a question...

I am looking to buy a Slingbox.

It looks as if you need to have your slingbox device near
your router in order to hook it up via ethernet cable.

This is not the case with me. My wireless router is
in another room.

What do I need to hook up to the slingbox ethernet
plug to transmit the signal to my wireless Belkin router
in the adjoining room?

Ron another option to look at is the Roku Soundbridges. They're wireless (or wired) and work great. There's been a number of threads on both units but feel free to email/PM me if you'd like to know more about the Roku's. BestBuy stocks the Soundbridges BTW or you can buy direct from www.rokulabs.com
