    Pete, I picked up three titles at Frys Electronics a couple of weeks ago for $14.99. Goodfellas, A Perfect Storm and The Fugitive. Unfortunately I have already purchased Sleepy Hollow for $24.99 … I just had to have it. It looks like the HD-DVD camp is gonna pirice compete heavily come Christmas. Best Buy has now lowered some of the Universal titles to $22.99 …competition is good.

    i guess they are making up for it with the few that went up to 29.99 today.

    Yes, you can. When Amazon dropped the Toshiba HD-A1 down to $413.88 over the weekend, it was back up to $459.99 last time I looked, I was able to get a credit of $86.11 applied to my credit card, since I ordered it at $499.99 originally.

    Amazon has turned out to be quite a friend to the HD DVD enthusiast... [​IMG]

    thats ass and illegal I thought. If you are in a supermarket and they misprice an item they have to honor it at the checkout. Isn't it false advertising?

    Wow. That sucks. Mine shipped already, so they'd better not try and charge me more. Amazon has been such a great place for HD DVD, hearing stuff like that is a shame.

    BOO Amazon! That is bush league. If they screw up it's their fault and they should honor the price.

    eh sent another note to them.

    I'm replying again because i was very insulted by the previous response.

    this paragraph is the object of my problem this time..

    "I hope you would also understand the inconvenience you would come

    that is insulting and probably would be against the law anyway for you to charge more then the listed price.

    again how am i to know that a price listed on amazon is the right or wrong price.

    if it was in print on the site and i placed the order with that price am i not agreeing to a contract for that price and are you not also agreeing to that price by allowing me to finish the order.

    i suppose i just have to trust you that any product i order will have the right price, or that at any moment i'll get an email saying sorry, too bad.

    how do you answer for the people that did order this at the lower price and did receive the product.

    also why have the prices for Sahara, Tomb Raider, and Sky Captain ballooned to $29.99.

    Is the $5.00 that you have saved for not puttng my order through really worth it.
    what happened to customer service.
    it was amazons mistake, not my mistake.
    i ordered in good faith that the price was just a sale.

    guess i was lied to.

    Cees I assume your in Canada and buying from Amazon.com because of pricing? When the product crosses the border you'll get hit with gst/pst as well a custom brokerage fees by the shipper. Unless it was shipped USPS they Canada Post charges a flat $5 fee.

    Sorry, but at every supermarket I've ever been to they eat it if they misprice an item.
