    Hi,

I know Disney has released Sleeping Beauty in R2 and R4. Is this correct? What version would be the best for me to get? I am in the USA... I have a multi-region player, so that is not an issue. I haven't yet bought any discs from other regions (though I am getting Scream and True Lies). Anyways, if I get the R4 release, it should play fine with no PAL speedup or anything, right? Also, has anyone actually viewed that disc? Is there English audio track on it? Can it be viewed with no subtitles?

Finally, where is a reputable place to purchase it from?

Please forgive all the questions, I am just very interested in ordering this.

Thanks very much for your time.

    Zack

Sleeping Beauty will probably be released in R1 this year....I would hold off until Disney makes an announcement.

Really?? I thought it wouldn't be released in R1 until it was released as a Platinum title in a few years. If they release it this year, that would be great.

    Thanks for the info! [IMG]

I am a happy camper now!!

The new DVD would use a newly restored version of the film.

I believe there was a preview ad for it coming in 2003 on the Beauty and the Beast Platinum DVD, if I remember correctly.
