I loved Slayer, S.O.D, Venom, Suicidal... but I also loved

Ratt, Motley Crue, DIO... you name it, and I was never

one to care what the fuck anybody thought, but I got in

a lot of fights with the guys that put you down because

you liked the hair bands... and I had a lot of friends that

stopped listening to it because of them. Heavy metal was

split up because of image. How assanine is that?

I agree, very very idiotic. Like some have said, I too

grew up in the '80s in High School and was into Maiden,

Anthrax, Crue etc. But I also liked many other forms of

music that was not popular at all. So be it.

I never understood putting someone 'down' because of

what THEY like. Please, if everybody liked the same

thing it would get pretty boring very quickly. Listen to

what you like and ignore those who don't accept it.

And that goes for anything in life.
