    Hey Everyone,
My roomie and I throw occasional parties and as you can guess...I don't want the visitors that are enjoying themselves near my stuff.(Drunk moochers) Anyway, i've decided that until I move out with my g/f I will have my setup in my room. I am on the verge of getting the Ascend 340's (l/r) and am slightly concerned with the size of my room. Anyone know what the minimum room size should be? Maybe I should just get the 170's until i move out and then use them as surrounds when the time comes to upgrade to the 340's? Anyway, thanks for your responses. [IMG]

P.S. I've already posed the question regarding my room size on the ascend forums, but I feel like I reach more people through this forum. [IMG]

For a standard bedroom, the CBM-170's would be fine. The CMT-340 has a wider dispertion, and in smaller rooms, wall interaction can be an issue...like with many speakers.

I think it would be best to give Ascend a call and ask the question.

    Here is a good thread:
