This morning I was listening to some music with my son Theo, who is sixteen months old. I picked up the DVD-A of David Bowie's Stage on the weekend, and Theo seems to be enjoying it, particularly the song "Heroes".

I decided that it was time to compare this DVD-A to the old RykoDisc CD of the album that I have. I cued up "Heroes" on both and started to flip back and forth between them.

Every time I switched over to the CD, Theo shook his head violently back and forth, no-no-no-no-no, until I switched back to the DVD-A, and then he'd smile and go back to dancing.

I've created a monster.

LOL, now see if he can tell the difference between the DTS and DD tracks on the new Titanic dvd.

Hmm. Was he interested in the surround mix or the > 20 kHz content?

Wasn't the surround mix, because we were listening to the two channel track -- the music system is two channel only in my living room.
