‘Sisu 2’ Has Already Been Shot — World of Reel

Jalmari Helander is back to direct. Jorma Tommila is reprising his lead role as the indestructible Aatami. No plot details have been revealed at this time. It should also be noted that, unlike the first film, “Sisu 2” was not shot in Finland.

I dunno. Sisu was a very pleasant surprise, but unlike John Wick, it didn't really feel like it was begging for a sequel. Wick could easily have ended with just the one, but it was the world-building around the character that made continuing it worthwhile. There's no similar "world" in Sisu.

Not sure where they can take this story in a sequel. The first one jumped the Shark by it's end. It started out strong and then just lost the program near the end.

I don't mind seeing Nazis get their just desserts, but the film lost me once they got to the plane. I took one look at what kind of plane it was and it took me completely out of the film. A film starts getting ruined for me when I immediately think WTF is this. Then we get into the plane and it gets even dumber.

This film requires suspension of disbelief right from the start. It’s so over the top. But hey I get what you’re saying. It was just too much for you.
