Can anyone give me a brief description of how the transfer looks? Not a post to a review site just individual opinions if possible please.

Quite possibly the best transfer of a classic film to date! And that is a fact!

The recent two-disc Special Edition version, with digital video cleanup by Lowry Digital Imaging, is absolutely breathtaking!!

We had to watch it three times before we could close our collective gaping mouths!!!!

The first release was great as well, but the newer version simply leaves the jaw open. [IMG]

Absolutely fantastic! As mentioned above - quite possibly one of the finest transfers of a classic film of this age. The colours literally jump off the screen.
    Two words... BUY IT!
