Just saw this news over at DVD Town... http://www.dvdtown.com/announcement/...Seven_Sea/101/ along with this "and now some said news. Rumor tells so, that Sinbad will probably be the last animated movie from DreamWorks."

This is not good news at all because with Disney pumping out.... poodoo, it will be a big loss.

Last traditionally animated movie, maybe. I seriously doubt they're scrapping Shrek 2 or Sharkslayer at this point.

I've heard the same said about Disney recently, that Brother Bear would be their last traditionally animated movie.

Yeah, Disney has announced they're shutting down their traditional animation studios. If Dreamworks is too, then this really is NOT good news. I think Fox shut theirs down awhile ago, as well.

on the good side, this probably means that more Japanese Animated stuff will be getting shipped over. At least, that's good news for people who appreciate Anime. Thing is, not everyone does.

As long as Pixar stays in business, I'm okay.

    as i see it...

traditional animation will be back, shortly after the influx of crappy 3D animation that is sure to flood the market in the next few years.
