Fox just confirmed that Simpsons Season 2 has been bumped from 6/11 to 7/9. Well, at least that saves people a bit of money on June 11th with Buffy 2 and all.

I think the delay is just to space out Buffy and Simpsons.

I know that my family will be buying both as well. This does help on the wallet a bit, though.

So at the current rate of about one set per year, it'll be 2010 by the time all the "good" seasons are released? Ouch... [IMG]

hey... as long as Fox releases the Simpsons in quality sets, I will be a happy camper. I am sure they are just delaying so Buffy and Simpsons aren't the same day. No Biggie [IMG]

The only thing that would make me give a sh*t about Buffy is if SMG was NAKED! Bring on my Simpsons!

I don't know, I'm starting to come around to Buffy. Saw Willow kissing another chick on FX tonight!

I think the thing that's making the Simpsons sets take so long is the commentaries they are recording for every episode. It's gotta be a logistical nightmare to get all of the right people together in a recording booth for a whole season's worth of episodes.

Oh yeah, like many here I'm buying both "The Simpsons" & "Buffy". I think it more likely than not that the audiences for these two shows would intersect.

A delay of less than one month. No biggie. Buffy fans have been waiting longer for their Season 2 set than I have. [IMG]

I wonder if this is really a "street date bump", or is it just that the pre-order deadline date got mixed up with the street date when the press release came out.
It's not like THAT hasn't happened before! [IMG]
In either case it's okay; there was already too much coming out in June anyway.

Count me as another that will buy both Simpsons Season 2 and Buffy season 2. I love both of these shows! [IMG]

They already recorded like 65 commentaries. I remember the interview too.
That was months ago, so it's also possible that a few more have been recorded too.
I personally, love both series, but I'm happy it's not Buffy being pushed back, we've waited pretty long for them, and I think FOX knows that.
I've got a better idea! Release Buffy Season 2 a month early! [IMG]
