    Tell me something....

What's the point of showing it AFTER Halloween? Can't we get it on a Saturday night airing rather than Sunday? Or, have a special airing of it during the week?

What logic am I missing here?

    simple

Saturday is a ratings dead zone in the happy 18-40 demo

And everyone thank the NFL and MLB for making Fox hold off, not knowing if they're going to be able to show it on schedual

    Sigh...
It just isn't the same. Try watching it knowing that Thanksgiving is almost 3 weeks away rather than 4 or 5 [IMG]. What are the chances some other network will draw sports away from Fox with a higher bid?

Virtually nil. Even if someone manages to haul one of them away, the other one is still sure to annoy

I noticed that, too. Not once since 1999 has the traditional SHS been aired on or before All Hallow's Eve. It's like showing "It's a Wonderful Life" on December 28th.
