I'm driving it with a Kenwwod VR-507 with the receiver LFE out connected to the sub's line in.

- sub is corner loaded
- Even though I'm not using speaker level inputs, the sub crossover is set to max (120 Hz) as it makes a difference for this sub. Receiver crossover I believe is 80 or 100hz and is fixed.
- mains set to small
- no calibration done yet, no bass boost
- room size 12 x 14

What volume setting do you have on your sub?

For me I have to turn it up to at least 75% for decent HT bass. This is somewhat dissapointing as I was hoping for more punch than this.

My dial is at 11 o'clock. I calibrated with the radioshack meter and this puts its a few dB hotter than the other channels. I'm also using a kenwood receiver (vr-407) and run the speakers small and have the sub connected to the LFE out. I get decent bass for HT but not earthshaking. I plan to get an SVS by the end of the year.

I have that same sub but I have a max crossover setting of 170Hz. Try turning it up to 170Hz and see if it makes a difference
