    OK Folks,

After much research I have decided to finally give in and purchase a new home theater reciever. My Pioneer VSX605S gave me many wonderfull years, but got fried in an electrical surge that also took my TV.

I have decided on the Pioneer VSX-1014TX, but have one major concern; I would like the silver model. I cannot find this anywhere in the US. If there wasn't a silver model available in the UK I would say the heck with it and order the black one. But there is a silver one. And I really really want one.

Any ideas short of shipping one from the UK?

if silver is that important i'd just take it apart and paint it.
I've painted practically everything i own from my PS2 to my TV . Very easy, take the pieces you want off of it. prime them and paint them.
