Silent Hill 2 Help!!!!!!!!!(I'm stuck!) (1 Viewer)

Hello all,
Anyone that has been palying SH2 for at least a couple of hours, maybe you could help me out.
I've gotten into the west building now. Which is the building with the note on the door, saying to get the key from an uncle's house.
Anyways, there is that desk in the room where you have to insert coins, which I only have 2 of them (Snake and Old Man). Where the heck is the 3rd coin?! I have a feeling I may have missed something in the first building.
Anyways, I feel totally stupid right now, because this kinda stuff never happens to me in games! grrrr....
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Alright you need the six pack of pop, or whatever it is. I forget where I picked that up.
Then go to the garbage disposal with the bag stuck in it.
Throw the six pack down there and the bag will fall.
Then go back outside near the first gate and to the right is a small alley. At the end is a pile of garbage including the bag from up top. The key is there as well!
Then travel all the way back to the chest thingy and place the coins.
Hope this helps, hopefully you already have the six pack.

Ok, you need to find the room with angela in it. She is there on the floor holding a knife (youll have to watch the cutscene to see why this pertains to the story...NO SPOILERS ). This is in room 109 I believe. You will find the final coin (the prisoner coin) there. You will then want to save your game and go back to the room with the coin puzzle and solve it. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the help, but I managed to figure it out. I had missed the door going to the room where angela was...
Oh well, glad that part is over and done with... I'm now in the hospital.

I am stuck in the Hosipital.....Has anyone gotten out of the house? I just got the Lead Ring from the fridge on the ground. So what now?

I'm somewhat stuck in the hospital as well.
What house are you talking about??? Lead ring...fridge? This is in the hospital???
I have three of the locks unlocked on that box on the bed with the 4 locks on it. Can't find the combination for the last lock. I can see that there's something stuck down in the drain in the shower room but, I don't have anything that will reach. Think I have part of what is needed to reach but, have to find something longer to combine it with.
I think I'm going to have to go back to the 1st floor and start re-searching everything all over again to see if I accidentally missed something. Everythings kind of a dead end right now.

Derrik the last code is Spoiler:9292 for the lock on the far left, you get that after an incounter on the roof with Spoiler:your friend from the Apartments.
What you need to use to get the item out of the drain is in that box. After all that the game gets even more FUCKED UP!!!!

Kelley, Spoiler:Already been to the roof. That freak with the garbage can on his head knocked me off; landed down there in the nut case ward. Looked all over that small area and was wondering what in the hell the use of it was since I didn't find jack shit down there. How did you get that code? I HATE when I miss something so obvious. But, thanks for the hint!!!!!! Wish I could return the same but, you're ahead of me.

Derrik, look on the wall in the padded room. I'm right around the same area that you are and can't figure out what to do next. I opened the lock box but don't know where to go next. The main door on the first floor is still locked and I've looked everywhere else. I can't find a tool to get the object out of the drain. Can anyone help?

Thanks, Chuck. I knew I had to combine the hair with something but didn't know what. I never found the bent needle so I'll have to start over from the first floor to find it.

Hey all. Sorry if I'm still a bit behind you all but I still can't find the key for that door with the note on it! I threw the 6 pack down the chute and went outside but all that was in the trash was a coin. (an old man I believe) and no key! Is there something I'm missing? Should I have all 5 coins by now? Help everyone!

I found it Chuck, thanks. I'll be more thorough in the future.
Richard, there are only three coins. You will have to place them in the correct slots.
Coin 2
Spoiler: The second is in the courtyard swimming pool. You should have the courtyard key unless you forgot to get it like me. It's in the closet you hid in.
Coin 3
Spoiler: Go to the first floor of the west building. There was a door that you could not open before. You should have access now.

Well guys, I just got done beating what is in my opinion one of the best games of the year!! I wont go into any plot spoilers but I will say that the ending I received was very good and wrapped up the story nicely.
Anywho if anyone needs help with any of the puzzles please feel free to ask, I will be glad to answer any questions
PS. Im starting a discussion thread for those that beat the game so we can analyze what we thought of the ending and give our interpretations.

BTW, How long did it take you to beat it and on what difficulty setting. I'm also in the hospital. How far into the game would you say those of us in the hospital are?
