There are a couple of local channels that come in weak on my cable.
I was wondering if a signal amplifier from radioshack will make the picture more clear and eliminate the "snow" on the TV.

    Art,

It can hurt to try one. However, your best get might be to go to a neighbor’s house and check out those channels. Some cable channels just don’t have a great picture, and if that’s the case there probably isn’t anything you can do.

Plus it never hurts to check the basics – like making sure all your coaxial cables are in good and screwed down tight at all connections.
