    Sierra Baron DVD Review

While no great shakes as a western of the 1950s, Sierra Baron doesn’t really get a fighting chance to impress on DVD with such a harmfully destructive use of pan and scan for a Cinemascope movie which destroys widescreen compositions and reduces the impact of the outdoor scenes which were filmed in picturesque Mexico.

I imagine everyone can guess what I am going to say! If this had been presented in its correct aspect ratio, I would have bought it. But shameless Fox have done it again. I don't know how they can hold their heads up when they walk out of the building at the end of the day.

These are old 4.3 tv prints ! Fox is using black and white trailers for some Technicolor on demand films,if you don't watch til the end, you would think it was b and w. Sad ,it seems like no one cares @ Fox.
