    The spoofs are plenty,Kevin.....[IMG]
    Here are a couple...
The Big Bad Wolf is caught in Shrek's bed donning granny's clothes. He lets out reluctant "What?!"
Princess Fiona does a spoof of The Matrix by executing a slow-mo kick on a couple of 'merry men'.
Spoofs of the action genre are evident in the slow-mo escape from the dragon's lair which features Shrek and company evading the Dragon's fiery ball of flames accompanied by synthesizer beat.
OK.....Don't want to be a spoiler....go get the DVD and enjoy the fun. [IMG]

Kevin, that spoof could be borrowed from any number of action films such as the Lethal Weapon films or any Bruckhighmer (?) produced crap. This theme is spoofed in The Grinch as well.
(I don't know how Jerry B spells his last name...and I don't really care enough to look it up on IMDB [IMG] )

Lots of spoofs. Numerous medieval/fairy tales, nursery rhymes, and children's songs are spoofed. The Dating Game is spoofed. Disney World is spoofed. Professional wrestling is spoofed.

The IMDB lists dozens of movies that are spoofed but it doesn't explain them. I think they are submitted by fans and most are so subtle that they could be coincidental similarities rather than intentional spoofs.

I thought the one where Shrek shout "RUN!!" in slow motion was borrowed from Long Kiss Goodnight where Sam.Jackson(My favourite actor) shouted "FUCK! RUN FOR YOUR LIFE"
