It's funny, I've been rewatching 30 Rock, so when I ran across this trailer, my first thought was, "Did somebody make a parody Tracy Jordan-movie like Fat Bitch, but it somehow leaked from sitcom-land into real life?"

To be fair, this is just supposed to be a silly kids movie but I saw a trailer for it before Sgt. Stubby (a lovely independent animated kids movie about a heroic dog in WWI that has actual good messages, a kind heart and no fart jokes) and I can't help but be bothered that some garbage like that will make 40 times what Sgt Stubby made.

I saw a TV spot for this last night which proclaimed it "From the Director of Beverly Hills Chihuahua" and started laughing.

I get that this film is similar in that it features talking dogs.

But who actually knows without looking it up who directed Beverly Hills Chihuahua? (I don't.) And why would that be a credit worth bragging about in TV spots?
