A criminally underrated 70s class. Like all films by George Roy Hill, there's more to this film than meets the eye. It's a sharply observed microcosm of America in the guise of a "hockey" film. Great casting and direction as well as being superbly edited by one of the great editors Dede Allen. And Paul Newman and Strother Martin, what else would you want.

Agree. Shout usually throws a new interview mixed in with existing supplements. Unfortunate that they didn’t with this title.
