Should I use DVI cables? (1 Viewer)

Would DVI cables improve image quality in this set up?

Sony SAT-HD200 (1080i) w/ a Sanyo Z2 front projector (1080i).

I just purchased the HD200 and havn't yet decided to go DVI or not. I'm currently using an 18foot component video cable for my Denon 2200 player. If I do go the DVI route for HDTV I'll likey get something from bettercables.

Any input is greatly appreciated.
