Should I paint my wall black before mounting my screen? (1 Viewer)

Hi All,

I am wondering if painting my wall black before mounting my Da-Lite HC Da-mat Cinema Contour 92'' Diag screen would be better then mounting it on the current white color. (The room is dedicated for a HT)

Any advice on doing this? and on specific paint types and where it can be baught (home depot)?

Leon,

Yes, having the wall black will improve your image perception. If you can go a step further and using a black material to help absorb sound, you will aid both audio and video perception.
