What would you do? I recently purchased the SONY 36XBR450.
Love it! The guy I bought it from will let me trade up to the new SONY 36XBR800 for a difference of $260.00!! They
have them in stock and I could get it right away, delivered and all. I have not seen much on this new set but I am sure once again it is an improvement. So again, what should I do?
    Thanks for any opinions.

Question is, why is this dealer so eager to accept such a generous trade-in for the XBR800 with such a small difference in price--given how electronics dealers don't like trade-ins all that much. I'm sure the XBR800 will be a genuine improvement over the 450, but this strikes me as odd. What's his motive, I wonder? If there's no catch, then, yes, I would spring for that deal. But my internal sensors would go on red alert, otherwise.

Personally, I would ask to demo the set privately with a no hassle return policy in case something is wrong with it. Just sounds too good to be true, IMO. If it is legit, then congrats! [IMG]
