Should I bother buying a Sony SA-WM40? (1 Viewer)

Here is the situation. I have a piecemeal HT setup. I have a Yamaha RX-V530, Def Tech SM350s in front, no CC, and HTD Level Ones for surrounds. My sub is a cheap Aiwa 8" 60W sub. I have the Yamaha set up so the base goes to both the mains and the sub. The SM350s seem to carry a good amount of base.

My local AAFES has the Sony SA-WM40 for $129, no tax. I am debating whether to upgrade or not. Right now I wonder if I am better off to not know what I am missing. I eventually want to buy a Def Tech ProSub 100TL. So should I buy the Sony as a filler, or just stick with what I have till I can afford to buy a better sub? One other note, the TV area is appx.12X15. Thanks for any advice, Lowell.

Go for it. Later, if you want, you can always get $100 used.

Don't forget the poly-fill tweak...
