I made myself a new cover for my Goonies DVD...
Right now it's just made to go over the existing snapper, but I'm planning to modify it to fit in a keepcase.
Here's a JPG of it (not actual size):

Not a lot there at the moment, Derek. Am I the only one who can't see anything when clicking that link? It just says "Not Available For Download". [IMG]

Sorry, I couldn't link directly to the image, I had to make an HTML page for it.

I thought I posted it like that, but it didn't work...
Thanks, Todd, but could you edit that back out? I read that linking to a file outside of a Tripod webpage is a violation of my agreement with them!!

    That is awesome.
Is there any chance you could compress the keepcase version to under 4mb?
I'd love permission to print it out to replace my "crapper" case.
    Great work.

Seriously... it's just a cover guys. I love the movie too, but for some reason I have more things to do with my day then create new covers to dvd's.

whats the difference between a snapper case and keep case. Is the snapper case the one like X-files has and Batman.
I dont know what the names are
tell me the name of these cases from these movies:
    1.Batman
    2.Forrest Gump
    3.Gladiator
    4.Jurrasic Park.
Those are the 4 different covers I can think of at the moment.

    1.Batman-Snapper
    2.Forrest Gump- Alpha Double
    3.Gladiator- Amaray Double
    4.Jurrasic Park.- Guessing Amaray
The problem is that there are about 10 different hub designs out there for single discs. Amaray(yin-yang) and Alpha("Press Here" circular well) being the most common. X-Files is a custom foldout

    Derek,
    Awesome cover! Good job... [IMG]
You should contact the guys at http://www.realitycrash.com/dvdcovers.htm
I'm sure they'd be willing to post the cover for download.
BTW: Where'd you get the pic? Just curious.

If anyone is looking for a "postcard" sized verion of the artwork used for the new cover (brilliant), or a lot of original artwork for that matter, take a look at the back pages of a book called ILM - The Art Of Special Effects. Fantastic book, highly recommended.
