Does anybody know what tax people have to pay
when shipping from Alberta to Canada? Thanks.
I mean Alberta to BC, duh.
The only tax you have to pay is GST. Since you do not live in Alberta you do not have to pay their provincial tax. Hang on, Alberta doesn't have a provincial sales tax! Unless things have changed there?
I have received products from Ontario and did not pay the provincial sales tax.
All you pay is GST. Technically, you're supposed to selfasses the PST portion and send that into the government.

It's true, we are (I think) the only province without a sales tax to call our own. We deal with it and move on, though, and you have to too.
