Hi All,

Just curious, why do inter-connects need shielding where speaker cables do not not?

Thanks Bob

Because they are low-level, low-voltage (milli-volt) signals and as such are easily susceptible to EMI (electro-magnetic interference). Amplifier outputs are hi-level, (comparatively) high voltage. Any interference picked up at that point is too low a level to matter.
