What we have on the drawing board is the functionality of the R-963 with slightly better noise performance, complete DPL II adjustability and Dolby Headphone.

Thank you all for your opinions, and thank you to Jeff from Sherwood USA for responding to my post and to my E-mail. I think I just may wait for the 963. It's going to be hard not having my new 25-31PC hooked up to anything for a few weeks however. Oh well, hopefully it will be worth it.

Jeff,

I know this isn't a "home" audio question but what ever

happened to the GOOD Sherwood car audio gear? I went to

the sherwood usa site and I see 2 lines "Targa" and "Urban"

and I know "Urban" is like the cheapest of cheap K-Mart gear.

This distresses me as I am also a car audio guy and I have

an oldschool Sherwood XAT 120-Q amp running my subs and I

bought this amp new at least a decade ago and even though

it's not rated for it, It has been running 1 Ohm all this

time.. I guess those days are gone?

If your Home Audio gear is built like your Car Audio USED

to be, Then it has to be without a doubt, Bullet Proof to

say the least.
