I am wiring in a Sharp LC30HV4U flat panel lcd tv into my home theater. The problem I have run into is the control wire that goes from the main box to the screen is not long enough.

My question to you is, do you know of any extension cables less than 33ft in length?

I only need about 10ft total.

Extensions are not very good. It's a better idea to simply replace the monitor cable with one of the proper length.

What's your total length requirement and what kind of cable is it?

Have you contacted Sharp to see if they can make you a custom cable(or your dealer for that matter)? If not, maybe someone can cut the 10m cable down and reattach the connector for you.

Nice set, btw. It rivals most of the plasmas out there, IMO.
