It's bad enough to have dvd cases loaded with promotional inserts, coupon booklets, non-removeable decals on the front covers, etc. Now this: I just opened my ICE AGE dvd, and in addition to the usual above mentioned inclusions, there's a large donut-shaped PAPA JOHN'S PIZZA decal stuck to the backside of the disc #1 flap! It took a while to remove it, but there was no way I wanted to be violated with this shameless advertising every time I open the case, which will be quite often (I love the movie!). It won't be long and we'll start seeing ads printed on the actual disc surface in addition to commercials at the start of each disc that can't be bypassed. Some days I wish dvd never went mainstream. This is the type of crap we have to deal with, now that it has.
