I thought of that too when i saw this was going to be released.

Goldthwaite's stage persona is obnoxious and abrasive, no doubt intentionally. Never could stand him (or Gilbert Godfried). However, Goldthwait directed a pretty decent horror thriller (WILLOW CREEK) and I enjoyed Godfried in ALADDIN, because his stupid voice actually fits animation well. SHAKES THE CLOWN, several insufferable minutes of which I caught on cable one night, will definitely not be part of my collection, even if given to me free.
