    Hello:

For those of you live in the San Francisco Bay Area, Fry's is having a one day grand opening sale in honor of the their new store opening in Concord today, March 19th. The sale is good at all Bay Area Fry's locations.

I just got back from the Concord store where there was easily a line of over 1,000 people that wrapped around the building before they opened up at 8am. Lots of great deals to be had, some of the DVD specials they had included the following:

    Soprano's Season 1-4, $49.99 each [IMG]

    Cat in the Hat: $9.99

    Movie Two Packs: $9.99 each
    Assassins/Demolition Man
    Broiler Room/Sleepers

There's a huge one going up in the Chicago western suburbs. Haven't heard when it's opening yet. The Fry's name is up on the outside walls so hopefully soon.

This is the first one out here; how do they compare to Best Buy or other stores? What should I expect?

As a former employee and frequent customer, all I can say is I would set your expectations as low as possible, if only to minimize the frustration and disappointment. And do not, I repeat, do not write a check!
