Anyone watch the latest installment of SatC?

Poor Sam, that was hideous looking (chemical peel gone awry).

Poor Miranda, baby is going to get in the way of her getting some.

Poor Charlotte, impending divorce is going to produce an upheaval of her lifestyle (like getting booted out of a posh apartment).

Poor Carrie, finds a likely boyfriend candidate, and finds out he's taken.

I thought last night's episode was excellent.
Who else is expecting a re-release of the original "Sex and the City" with that cover of Carrie's book? [IMG]

I have not been a very big fan of this season, but last night's episode was by far the best of the new crop.

I'm going to have to start looking for playing cards in the streets now!

Last nights episode was also the best of the season to me as well. Im so tired of the quirky comebacks and whiny "whoa is me" rhetoric from Carrie.
I got a feeling the guy Carrie met will be back... I forget his real name, but he's too popular of an actor to just make a 5 minute appearance in that show.

That'd be Ron Livingston (Peter on "Office Space"), who, I think, will be on the remaining 3 epsiodes this season (before the Sopranos returns on 9/15/02).

I enjoyed the episode, but for a series that prides itself on its realistic detail, I was shocked when Bunny announced that the apartment still belonged to the MacDougals. My wife sits on our coop board, and I can assure you that, when couples split up, getting the apartment title settled is one of the very top priorities. Hard to believe that Charlotte wouldn't know that.

I'm a Ron Livingston fan so I was glad to see him in last night's episode. I hope he is atleast a lock for being in the last 3 of the season.

Do y'all think that Berger lied about having a girlfriend?

yeah...last night was pretty good. i loved watching the little 'bitch-fest' between the gay guys. the scene between carrie and candace was pretty funny...i was actually squirming in my chair.

i think it was a pivotal moment for miranda...i think she finally realized what was important.

glad to hear that the berger-meister will be in the remaining ep's. i really liked his character - witty and charming.

btw patrick - what makes you think he was lying? just curious...

Who played the limo driver last night? I know I've seen her somewhere and it's driving me nuts.

Well, it was like Berger was a bit afraid to pursue Carrie, so after spending an afternoon with her, and liking what he saw and heard, when she invites him to be her plus 1, he might have panicked and made up a girlfriend on the spot, or perhaps he does have a girlfriend, but is more attracted to Carrie and is caught in no man's land.

How many episodes are there going to be this season? A friend said she read there would only be 10 this year due to SJP's pregnancy.

    Hope they bring Big back.

I'm actually finding this season to be off to a slow start.

By my count, there's only 3 more new SatC before the new season starts for The Sopranos (9/15/02). I think SatC will have its normal 13 episodes this season, but with a long hiatus in between the 1st set of episodes and this last set of them.

Brian is correct; the season was originally planned at 12 shows (like the first season), but it was cut to 8 after the pregnancy announcement.

How many episodes were shown earlier this year?

We'll see, what, 6-7 episodes in this run in August/September?

There have been five episodes to date, premiering on July 21 and 28 and August 4, 11, and 18.

The remaining three will play on August 25 and Sept. 1 and 8. On Sept. 15, The Sopranos takes over the 9pm Sunday slot.

There will be no further episodes of Sex and the City until summer 2003.
