Greetings and Salutations
Over at The bits they had a round up of what to expect from Universal DVD next year and Several John Hughes SE DVD's are in the line up
I really am a BIG John Hughes fan and this news has made me really happy
The only John Hughes titles that are owned by Universal I can think of are :
The Breakfast Club
Sixteen Candles
Weird Science
Uncle Buck
The others I can not think of
With these as SE's and Paramount eventually releasing Some Kind Of Wonderful and Pretty In Pink, I am in heaven
Regards,
Ricky

Great news, but I hope they get the rights to the original music for Sixteen Candles this time (instead of all the substitutions made on VHS and the first DVD). It's just not the same watching it with so much of the music changed. Even the title theme music was different.

I hope that too.
It is just such great news, I hope we see deleted scenes, commentary and interviews with the stars of the movies.
I really can not wait
Regards,
Ricky

Ahh, this is good. You have to love the John Hughes movies if you spent any portion of your formative years in the 80s. I'm especially pleased to see The Breakfast Club and Weird Science on the list as these are two of my favorites. Let's hope for some cool extras.

Ricky, there's an E! True hollywood story on The Breakfast Club, and a couple of his other films too.
