Howdy and thanks.

What are you looking for (Speakers, Subwoofer or Both)? Both, and Receiver

Primary Use: 10% music 90% TV and Movies

Desired Configuration: 7.1 Atmos (7.1.2?)

Room Size: 13'x14' (from sitting postion, ceiling is 8ft; opposite wall, 11.5ft)

Is the room open to other areas of your home: Yes

Do you already have an AV receiver or amplifier? No

What's your budget (low to high): Up to $1500 additional?

Any special requirements (Wife Acceptance)?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Already have:

Klipsch RP-500Ms (4X for surround sides and back ?)
Klipsch RP-404C (center channel)

Thinking of getting:

Klipsch R-41Ms for Atmos (height)
Klipsch RP-4000Fs or Klipsch RP-5000Fs for front
Klipsch R-12SW for subwoofer

Denon AVR-S750H

2X FosPower Banana Plugs 12 Pair, closed screw, 24K gold plated (Amazon)

GearIT Pro Series 12AWG Speaker Wire (Amazon) 200ft
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Not sure if all this "fits", works well together, is overkill, underkill, laughable...

Most content will be streamed via Plex

...so much stress to my brain pondering all this and researching...

...appreciate any and all advice/criticism in my endeavor
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

thanks!

Are you able to install in-ceiling or on-ceiling speakers for Atmos? They're supposed to be overhead, not just high and to the sides.

Personally, I'd forego the rear surround speakers, since the viewing position is basically against the rear wall.

thanks for reply. No, rental, so no in-ceiling; yes, will (somehow) hang speakers to ceiling

Nice set-up! I was wondering (in case 5.1.2 is the desired configuration): is the best position for the ATMOS speakers front, middle or back?
