Setup of 2200 picture? (1 Viewer)

I have a Denon 2200 player coming and I was just wondering about if when I set it up, should I set up brigthness, color etc. in the player or on the tv? I have a 28 inch philips widescreen 50 hz, which is used vis RGB scart.
With my old Denon 3000 I just set up the tv, since I couldn't do anything else...

I believe you can setup the 2900 the same way...

In nearly all cases, simply make your picture adjustments on the monitor. The picture controls for a DVD player, if used at all, should be for tailoring/fine-tuning individual DVDs that have been less-than-adequately authored.
