My 22 year old Technics receiver finally died and I bought a new Panasonic SA-XR25. This is the first digital, multi-channel receiver I've owned and I'm not entirely sure how to hook it up properly.
At the moment, I only have two speakers. I set it up so that the front speakers are "large" and the center, surrounds and subwoofer are "none." In my DVD player, I set the digital outs on both Dolby Digital and DTS to PCM. Is this correct? Is this the best method until I decide to get more speakers?
