Seriously, when are we gonna get a decent "Producers" disc?

I watched this last night, and damn is this is a funny comedy. Given all the success the Broadway version has had recently, I'm surprised whoever owns the rights hasn't already cashed in!

Does anyone know anything about this release?

EDIT - Patrick beat me to it.

Patrick, are you sure that The Producers will be an SE? I'd heard that it'll be a movie-only release. Hopefully, if it is an SE, it'll include a commentary with Brooks and Wilder.

Laurent Bozeuorou (sic) is making a documentary for the disc.

If MGM is having a doc. made for the DVD, it probably is an SE.

If you must have this movie on DVD now - it is already available. It is a region 0 and the title is not "The Producers". It is "Springtime for Hitler" only the title is written in Spanish. The topic came up at hometheatertalk.com so you could probably do a search in the main section about it. The guy who bought it said the transfer wasn't the best. I e-mailed the company that was selling it and I think they said it would cost me about $30 to get it to Maryland. I will just wait for the region 1.
