Well basically im curious on everyones stance concerning sequels that are happening or sequels that have been talked about but not much more. Which ones are you looking forward to and which ones are you dreading. Granted some may never happen at all which may be a good thing for some of the purposed sequels. Anyways ill give 2 lists of my own, one of sequels im eagerly anticipating and another of ones im dreading.
    Can't Wait!
    Star Wars:Episode III
Lord of the Rings:The Two Towers

    Red Dragon
    Spider-Man 2
    Spider-Man 3
    X-Men 2
    X-Men 3

Freddy Vs Jason (Freddy will win!)
    Meet the Fockers
    Shrek 2
Mission:Impossible 3 (if Fincher is directing im intrigued.)
    Blade 3
Alien 5 (if either Scott or Cameron get involved then a emphatic cant wait if not then I can.)
Alien Vs Predator (If it ever happens it could be great if done right, of course theyll probably screw it up though.)
    Mad Max 4
Predator 3 (Predator 2 sucked but still what an awsome creation, they need to try again.)
    Child's Play 5 (Chucky Rules!)
    The Hobbit
    Dreading
    Halloween:Resurrection
    Blair Witch 3
    Scary Movie 3
    Charlies Angels 2
    Tomb Raider 2
    Exorcist Prequel
    Bad Boys 2
The Fast and the Furious 2
    Anaconda 2
    Independence Day 2
    Batman and Superman
    The X-Files 2
    Planet of the Apes 2
    Battlefield Earth 2
    Godzilla 2
    The Mummy 3
    Terminator 3 (No Cameron)
Terminator 4 (as above though Ive always wanted to see more of the future war)
Gladiator 2 (I cant believe there actually thinking about that one)
    Scooby-Doo 2
    Jurassic Park 4

I'm very much looking forward to Star Wars Episode III and the next two LOTR films. I think Shrek 2 will be great, as well.

    I'm dreading Scooby-Doo 2, though.

After all the bad things you said about The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, Bill, you shouldn't even be allowed to go see the sequels! [IMG]

Steeve, I haven't decided yet if I am going to see them or not. I will most likely end up seeing The Two Towers even if I don't want to, because that was what happened with the first one.

I'm just looking forward to 2,

Mad Max 4, someday it will be finished and someday we can watch it and I wish someday was real soon!

JP 4, I like all the JP's, loved 1 but 3 was too short, but Spielberg says 4 should be pretty good, I guess we'll see!

WAITASEC!!! Did someone announce something about a Hobbit movie??? If so, color me elated. (Ooooh, tell me Jackson filmed it in bits and pieces during the LOTR shoot(s). That would make me quite happy indeed.)
I generally look forward to sequels with one foot on the bullshit meter. Done well, a sequel can be a real treat for fans. On the other hand, well you don't need me to tell you about MIB2... [IMG]

Fight Club 2. [IMG] If this ever happened, I can't figure out whether I'd avoid ever seeing it or be there first in line on opening day. [IMG]

I'm really looking foreward to T3, just to see what they can churn out of it.

Also, and I just learned about it in the movies section of the forum, Gods and Generals falls into the prequel range!

There are no sequels I am looking forward to. MIB2 has pretty much killed any taste for them. However, I am with Bill here-I don't really care if I see The Twin Towers or not. Not exactly dread, but to me, the trailer had nothing. It borrowed way too much from FOTR, even down to the huge army of soldiers standing in the rain. If the rest of the series is going to be nothing more than hobbits and armies racing at each other from across fields, count me out.
