It's a shame because right before the last episode of seinfeld aired Jerry actually had a special DVD created with all his favorite episodes. He gave his co-stars and all the production crew on the set a DVD player and a copy of the DVD he had created.

I really wish they would put these out on DVD.

This topic comes up a lot on alt.tv.seinfeld. Someone said they asked Jerry about it at a recent stand-up show in San Antonio and he said what many have suspected that there is too much money in syndication right currently for a release. Don't know if this is true, but that's the latest I've seen.
