    To be honest, I don't know if I really /want/ a sequel to Nights... I was playing Christmas Nights again just at the weekend there & I *love* it to bits (just as I do the full game). But it's just so damn perfect, I'd be really really afraid of a sequel losing a little of the charm of the original or taking it in the wrong direction that I personally would want. Look at how the direction of Sonic Adventure antagonised some fans.

    As much as I want it, I'd be very wary of it screwing up the series. What would have been ideal for me would have been a straight remake for the DC with just a graphical overhaul - keep the levels/gameplay exactly as they were.

    Won't happen, mind.

    I get where you're coming from on Nights, Brian. I'll be honest and admit my dream vision is that of a new version that be virtually unchanged in its design. Nights X, the original game with suped up graphics and 5.1 would be all I ask. [​IMG]
    ...and damn if Christmas Nights was not one of the neatest ideas in gaming history. [​IMG]

    A new Nights game would be great, but damn if they messed with the gameplay I would be pissed. Sonic team knows people want a new Nights game and I hope they soon DO THE RIGHT thing and make it, just don't fuck with the gameplay.

    And for the love of all that is Sega please bring out a new Streets of Rage game.

    A lot of Sega's older games were excellent, so why not make new sequels and include the original games in the package with some slightly enhanced (aka, higher res) graphics, added levels, and some more secrets?

    Oh, and Panzer Dragoon looks GORGEOUS!

    Never played Panzer Dragoon. Explain why you guys are all so excited! As an Xbox owner, I feel I must be let in on info regarding upcoming quality games. I loved the original toe and earl by the way, just never found my way to panzer.

    Let me get this right, just to confirm. Panzer Dragoon plays a bit like Rez, with the on-rails targeting, yes?

    Well, it looks like I may have to complete the quartet of consoles after all...
