Pretty scary stuff. I firmly believe they should have done this demonstration on a closed track:

It's all off the shelf stuff plugged in by removing a few screws and taking the fascia of the dash off.

Want to weaponize this? Get a cellular modem connected to a raspberry pi attached to the network, put the cover back on and you can cause mayhem without the driver ever knowing you are in the loop.
