Same request here. I have a service man coming Tuesday to attempt to fix my geometry problems. If I learn anything, I'll let you know.

    Greetings

    Canned response ...

Flat Tube designs are notorious for having sub par geometry that is simply not easily fixable ... and certainly not in the service menu.

If the convergence or geometry problem does not appear to be symmetrical in nature, then the chances of it being fixed are slim to none. Something like a bowed bottom of the screen usually cannot be fixed (easily).

Most of the flat tube sets have some nagging geometry issue. It seems to be a weakness in the current design tech.

One usually has to go through up to 10 sets of the same unit before finding one that would exhibit decent "acceptable" geometry. No Store owner would ever let you open up ten units to find the one you liked.

We keep our fingers crossed, but don't get your hopes up.

    Regards

THanks michael for the info. And you seem to be correct. My flat tube toshiba has the drop off on the right side down the bottom and both sides bow inwards. I've taken it to get serviced, for other problems aswell, but i hope they can fix it!
