A cafe near my house recently started selling a brand of coffee called "Seattle's Best". I haven't tried it, but I'm wondering if it is any good, or if it is comparable to the "Milwaukee's Best" of beer?

Seattle's Best? You mean there are other coffees from Seattle besides Starbucks? [IMG]

Seattle's Best is great. Now, Milwaukee's "Beast" is another story. Considered the "Plan 9 from Outer Space" of beer.

Now, now Zen—nothing wrong with that brew so long as one is adverse to flavor. [IMG]

Seattle's Best Coffee does not live up to its name. See if you can find Cafe D'Arte or Torrefazione Italia.

    Cheers! [IMG]

Ditto what Zen said. Great coffee, the beer...why does Laverne and Shirley come to mind?

The only experience I have with "Seattle's Best" is the freeze-dried garbage that they served on the Home Theater Cruise last year. Man oh man that was some of the worst coffee I've ever had.

It used to be that you couldn't buy Milwaukee's Best in the Milwaukee area... I think Miller was embarassed to sell it. Then, I think the college kids got a hold of it and it's popularity made it impossible to hide.

Just so you all know... it's not Milwaukee's best.

Seattle's Blech! I think Starbuck's puts something in their drinks that is released whenever you try another brand! Also, Starbuck's opened a shop near my house. The invasion continues!

After 6 or 7 of the good stuff, M.B tastes just fine!
At parties a few 6ers of Bulgarian Beaver Beer (or whatever) makes the snobs happy and then a few cases of the other stuff makes them happy they dont have to spend their own money
