Ok, I am missing two lazy-boy chairs but I am calling it time to meet. I am going to have a "movie" night at my house to have a Grand opening of the Basement Bijou. I live in Sammamish and want to have a open HT on the 11th of Feb. I will need to get a head count of who all would like to come and if spouses are coming. Selection of the movie will be random. You bring the DVD you would like to see, and if two are brought than the most votes wins. If we have no clear winner, we will random draw, so bring your favorite.

Email me if you are in and I will forward an address and directions if needed.

Yep - this month weeknights won't be able to work for me either - (I'm working every single one of them!) but like Erik stated above - have at it! And then report back!

My theater is pretty small - I can only seat about 4-5 comfortably. This wasn't my plan - but I'm happy with how my mini-theater is turning out. My next place will definitely be BIGGER :)

have fun guys!

Would love to attend but can't make a week night this month either. Tommy love your theater and wish I could have been there for the grand opening. Like Michael I can only seat 4-6 as my theater is in what used to be a living room. I would be interested in hosting a couple of small dinner/movie nights on Friday evenings.

Ok Jeremy I will put you down for two good to hear it. I will email you directions.

Sorry you could not make it Trevor, my next one will be on a weekend. With ski lessons and soccer the next few are to hard to nail down. Let me know when you get your movie night set.

I would have liked to come along, but the wife is 3 weeks away from giving birth to our first child and isn't exactly comfortable in virtually any situation. Hey Trevor, where in Auburn are you? I'm up here in Lakeland Hills. Still haven't started our HT, too busy giving the wife her back rubs, but hope to get going by early summer. Give a shout out to how the first Seattle/Tacoma meet went.

Jordan, you and your wife are more than welcome to come for a while and leave when you need to. My wife will also be there and most likely will be upstairs. If your wife is not comfortable watching all of the movie she can hang up their. Let me know.

Thanks Tommy! But let's just say the wife is getting a wee bit tired of being pregnant about this time and isn't the best company! Keep us in mind for future showings, as we will undoubtedly want to get out of the house in the future!
Trevor, by the casino, huh? We go there every once in awhile for cheap breakfast, although we have to leave right after as I am a slots junkie! What's your setup? I have a Mits 55 HDTV, Pioneer Elite DVD player and receiver, Klipsch all around. We want to turn the 3-car garage into a 2-car-1-HT garage soon.

Jordan,
We never go to the casino even though we live so close. My setup is:
56" Tosh HDTV
Panasonic CP72 DVD (still have a Tosh 5109 also)
HK AVR 1000 reciever
Def Techs all round
SVS 31-25 PCI Sub with BFD equalizer
Have a Tosh HDTV Sat receiver but that is hooked up in the family room.
Also have a PC hooked up to the Tosh but it needs rebuilding at the moment.

I have to check with my wife, but I'm pretty sure we would be able to make it. All I need is directions. I'd be coming from Kent.

Congratulations, we just hit 15 last year. Have to say my gift to me was great.... the HT room. How did she know what I wanted? It will be nice to meet new people in the area.
