Is there an FAQ or thread that details the Sears price matching strategy??
What will they allow and what won't they (Sears)
    Do they carry Denon recievers?
Will they only price match products they carry in the store (say a yammy RX-V1200 reciever)or could one go hog wild and special order high-end stuff too (A Yamaha RX-V1 flagship reciever or even a DPX-1 DLP projector [IMG] )
What are the pros and cons of price matching?
Will they price match unauthorized dealers like Crazy Eddies?
Will Sears price matching be indefinate?
Is this generally the best way to get good products cheaply?
    Are they mad?[IMG]

I got lucky and purchased my Toshiba 50H81 at the right time.

I got it from Sears for 2075 back in August via a price match with continentaltrade.com

Sears got majorly SCREWED by price matching and now they enforce the list of "established" online manufacturers on their website.

I still read of some people getting lucky with a price match now, but that's odd.

Just three weeks ago I tried to get the same deal for my brother-in-law and struck out.

Even though I had my receipt in hand and went to the same store, they wouldn't do it.
