I saw an ad in the paper the other day for a Plasma TV at Sears. In the ad it said the price didn't include the MANDATORY delivery and installation charge.

Has anyone bought a Plasma from Sears and are they really charging this fee? I think it was around $450 in the ad for the "professional" delivery and installation. Sounds Fishy to me.

I've read that plasma sets can be fairly fragile. If so, it sounds as if they're covering their butts by making sure it gets to the customer's home unscathed, as opposed to the customer bringing it home, unpacking it, finding it damaged, then pointing fingers.
